Maternity sessions are typically scheduled between 28–36 weeks, when your belly is beautifully round but you’re still comfortable enough to move around and enjoy the experience. 

Sessions last around 90-120 minutes and can be done outdoors at golden hour or in your home, depending on your style and comfort level. 

• Outdoor sessions at a location we choose together—fields, forests, or quiet park spaces
• In-home lifestyle sessions are also available upon request

•  Flowy dresses, fitted gowns, or soft knits that show off your bump
• Neutrals, pastels, or earthy tones photograph beautifully
• Avoid bold logos or harsh patterns
• Partners and children are welcome—coordinate outfits for a cohesive look
• You’re welcome to bring a second outfit for variety!
   

Not sure what to wear? I’m happy to offer guidance or help you source a dress that fits your vision!

•   Water and comfortable shoes (especially for outdoor locations)
• Any sentimental items you’d like to include (ultrasound, baby shoes, etc.)
• Hairbrush, lip balm, or touch-up makeup if desired

 You’ll receive a curated selection of 10 hand-edited, high-resolution images in an online gallery within 2–3 weeks. Additional images and print options are available. 

Cake smash sessions are typically scheduled around your little one’s first birthday—usually between 11–13 months. This allows time to use the images for birthday invitations, party decor, or keepsakes.

 Typically 90-120 minutes, depending on your child’s mood, comfort level, and interest in the cake. We always move at your little one’s pace to keep the experience fun and relaxed.

•  In-home studio sessions with a simple, clean setup 
• Optional themed or neutral styling based on your preferences 
• Outdoor sessions may be available during warmer months for a more natural feel

• Soft, neutral, or pastel tones photograph beautifully 
• Simple outfits work best—avoid large logos or busy patterns 
• Consider bare feet or simple accessories for a timeless look 
• Bringing a second outfit is always a good idea after the smash portion

• Try not to worry if your little one is shy or unsure at first—every baby reacts differently to the cake 
• Feeding a small snack before the session can help avoid hunger-related meltdowns 
• Be ready to jump in for a few cuddly family shots if needed 
• The messier the session, the more memorable the photos usually are!
